Deschampsia cespitosa Goldtau

Deschampsia cespitosa Goldtau (Tufted Hair Grass, Golden Dew)
An excellent compact form of the Tufted Hair Grass and one of the finest grasses that we stock, deep green mounds of slender foliage support clouds of silvery red-brown tinted flowerheads that appear during Summer. As the feathery flower heads and foliage mature they turn to soft golden yellow, catching the light and shimmering in the slightest breeze.
Very easy to grow and non invasive, Deschampsia Goldtau is a good plant closer to the front of borders, with other shapes and colours of Ornamental Grasses or mixed with hardy perennials. They also look great in larger groups if you have space.
